Creating a room where light and competing noise will not interfere with the assessment means covering windows with fabric and notifying staff that the room is in use. Ultimately we are trying to create an optimal viewing environment that allows us to change the conditions based on what we want to know more about (e.g., how does light/lack of light or background noise/lack of background noise affect a student’s viewing pattern).
